- Check the filtration runtime, minimum runtime 6 hours
- Check and adjust the pH value between 7.0 and 7.6 with pH Minus or pH Plus
- Backwash the system
- Perform shock chlorination
- Add flocculation products
- Set the system to continuous operation and wait at least 24 hours (do not swim)
Cloudy green water, green spots, or algae
Possible causes:
- Incorrect pH value
- No disinfection (chlorine, hydrogen peroxide….)
- Poor filtration
- Low circulation
- Old water or low fresh water supply
What to do:
- Check the filtration runtime, minimum runtime 6 hours
- Check and adjust the pH value between 7.0 and 7.6 with pH Minus or pH Plus
- Backwash the system
- Clean pre-filter pump and skimmer baskets
- Perform shock chlorination
- Add flocculation products and anti-algae products
- Set the system to continuous operation and wait at least 24 hours (do not swim)
Calcium deposit or rough walls
Possible causes:
- Too high pH value
What to do:
- Check the pH value and adjust it between 7.0 and 7.6 with pH Minus
- Vacuum the pool floor, then brush the floor and walls to remove calcium
- Add special anti-calcium products to prevent further stains
- If you cannot brush off the calcium, the pool must be emptied and cleaned with a special acid. Basic cleaning of the pool!!
Dirty water returns to the pool while vacuuming
